Egg Timer
Egg Timer is our first published tool. It is designed to boil perfect eggs of the desired doneness every time.
Egg Timer calculates the exact boiling time considering egg size and starting temperature. You can use it for traditional boiling or modern methods like air frying. Note: Altitude affects the boiling point – add 30s per 1000m.
Information about Boiling Eggs
Boiling eggs is a precise task. Here are the most common boiling times for medium (M) eggs taken directly from the refrigerator:

| Medium (jammy yolk) | 7–8 minutes |
| Hard (firm yolk) | 9–11 minutes |

Tips for Perfect Results
Place the eggs into boiling water gently with a spoon. Once the time is up, transfer the eggs immediately to cold water (shocking) – this stops the cooking and makes them easier to peel. Remember that large (XL) eggs require about a minute more than small (S) eggs.
